Lone Oak Children's Ministry

We have Children’s Bible Hour for ages 3-5 during worship and Bible Classes at 11:00 a.m.

Our Purpose

At Lone Oak Church of Christ we believe our children our active participants in God’s Kingdom. Our goal is to help bridge the gap our kids will encounter from each stage of development with Christ at the center. More than anything else, we want our children to know they are deeply loved by God.

"Loving God and Loving Others" is our motto.

Our Mission

We will strive to lead our children into a growing relationship with Christ by creating environments in which children are encouraged to pursue friendship with God, make friends with good people, understand their God-given gifts, and begin to use them, and positively affect their friends who do not know Jesus.

Nursery

Lone Oak Church provides an attended nursery service for children birth to age 35 months during worship service in the Nursery. There is also a training room available at the rear of the auditorium (on the east side) where parents may take their babies if they wish.

Bible Classes

The GROW Kids Curriculum is an interactive and modern approach to teaching children the gospel in a way that is fun, educational, and memorable. With a strong focus on relationships, this curriculum is a tool to help children “grow” with each other and with God.

ACORNS Bible Hour

Girl in Bible HourChildren’s Worship is dismissed after the Lord’s Supper during service. It is a time of age-appropriate worship for 3 year olds - 3rd grade including singing, prayer, and a short devotional.

Wednesday Night Classes

Wednesday night classes are at 6:30 p.m. Our curriculum, Digging Into Foundations of Faith (published by Group Publishing) lays the groundwork for what it means to be a Christian. Kids explore what the Bible reveals about who God is and how God sees us, how we fit in God’s family, and how we live the Christian life. As kids understand core concepts of Christianity, they’ll gain a solid framework for their own relationship with Jesus.
