 Lone Oak Youth Group: where you are united with God and your friends feel like they’re family. Lone Oak Youth Group
You may be asking yourself, "Hmmmmmmmm? How do they acomplish this task?" We work very hard through Bible study, Bible classes, devotionals, and youth rallies such as Celebration and Winterfest. Also we learn how to love our neighbors through service to others by being part of different service projects in the communtiy and beyond. Mission Trips also play a vital role in the youth ministry here at Lone Oak. You will be encouraged to participate in our annual mission trip somewhere here in the states. Mexico Mission with the AIM (Adventures in Missions) progam from Lubbock, TX each Feburary has now become a tradition. This trip will be a life changing trip by seeing a city so BIG and I do mean BIG. There are somewhere around 30 million people living in about 85-100 square miles. We want to be an encouragement to all who walk through our doors. Sometimes we are good at this, sometimes we are not so good. Remember we are human. We are not a perfect youth group, just saved because of Jesus and his sacrifice. Come and join us in trying to serve the Lord. Wow, at times I can't believe how good God is to me and my family! If this is your first time to visit the Lone Oak Youth page I want to say "Hello". I am glad that you are interested in seeing what's going on at Lone Oak. We want you to know we understand that it is not easy being a teen and a disciple of Christ. We have a ministry here for our teens that helps teens grow closer together and build relationships that last a lifetime.
