The Children's Ministry at Lone Oak Church of Christ has been designed to enhance spiritual growth and learning, but also to foster relationships with other children in the church.  

Children's Bible Hour services are held every Sunday morning for boys and girls ages 2 through Kindergarten. Conveniently held during the regular morning worship time, this creative service teaches Bible lessons with songs, skits, scripture and crafts designed especially for their young minds, and also allows parents to become more actively involved, both mentally and spiritually, during the regular worship service. In addition, an annual Vacation Bible School program is held for one week in the evening every summer, and is fun for children and adults of all ages.  

Children may also participate in Young Youth Group events for boys and girls ages Kindergarten (and younger) through 6th grade.  Some examples are  the annual Easter Egg Hunt, July 4th Fireworks party, Trunk-or-Treat at Halloween, and Christmas Caroling activities. Other fun fellowship activities are held throughout the year including young youth bowling and skating days, group trips to area theme parks and zoos, bicycle rallies, cookouts, movie nights, and devotionals, to name a few.
